Everdigm Lub-free Bushing is a high load-carrying slide bearing having a porous composite iron-base sintered alloy containing dispersed solid lubricants therein and a steel substrate bonded to the sintered alloy as backing characterized by the feature that the porous sintered alloy is impregnated with a high viscosity of lubricating oil retaining solid lubricants as additives.
Excellent self-lubricity at high load and wide range of slide speed, particularly at lower speed.
Superior resistance against wear, seizure, erosion & cavitation erosion, fretting galling, and creeping without oil refilling for a prolonged period
High strength against failure
Achievement of extended greasing intervals, more than 2,000 hours in excavators, 1,000,000 cycles in die & mould set.
Reduction of maintenance costs, environment pollution and abnormal noise
Best choice for such an environment where frequent grease refilling work is not always easy to perform.
Double lubrications
Wet lubrication
While the bearing in operation the impregnated lubricating oil within the pores of sintered bearing layer comes the sliding surface due to frictional heat, then again it comes back and retained within the pores while not in service
Dry lubrication
Finely dispersed solid lubricants, graphite and molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), within the sintered bearing layer serves as dry lubrication enhancing the wear resistance and low noise.
